We at Taps at the Guardhouse are big fans of Shrubs. BIG. We fancy ourselves masters of the craft actually, and next weekend Saturday, March 16 & Sunday, March 17 we challenge you to come see what we're made of. We'll harness the power of vinegar, fruit & sugar (trust us, its delicious, see the New York Times article below for proof) and will offer both non-alcoholic and alcoholic tasting flights all day long. Made with seasonal goodies from the garden, our Shrubalicious favorites include the "Pear Pressure Ginger Shrub", the "Little Red Riding Beet & Peppercorn Shrub", and the ever famous, "Cran your berry be Saucy Shrub". So if you're feeling a little thirsty and alot "punny", join us! Oh yeah, and bonus points - we have events going all weekend long.
